San Pedro Alcántara’s 12th Día del Pedal is scheduled for Sunday, 25 October 2026, with a community cycle ride through the district followed by prize presentations and a draw for gifts.
Registration is free and will take place at Plaza de la Iglesia from 9am to 11am. The controlled start is set for 11.05am, and organisers expect riders to reach Playa de la Salida at around noon. Trophies are due to be presented at 12.30pm, followed by the gift draw at 1pm.
The route begins at Plaza de la Iglesia and runs along Calle San Miguel and Avenida de la Constitución, continuing via the boulevard to the El Ingenio roundabout. It then follows Calle Manuel González Portilla and Avenida del Mediterráneo before taking Avenida Carlos Cano to the finish at Playa de la Salida.
The event is open to all ages. Planned awards recognise the oldest and youngest participants, the most original bicycle and the oldest bicycle. Gifts will also be drawn using participants’ registration numbers.
Participants are asked to bring a plastic container for recycling. The council’s event listing says numbered registration tickets are planned for up to 1,000 people, while 800 T-shirts and welcome-pack bags are listed among the event materials. The listing does not say whether registration will close once a particular number is reached.
Marbella’s municipal sports department is organising the event. The published provision includes two ambulances—one for transport and one medicalised—as well as Local Police and Civil Protection services. The council has not supplied further information on road closures or any traffic arrangements.
