Andalusia recorded exports of €22.43 billion in the first half of 2026, a 5.1% increase on the same period a year earlier—more than twice the 2% growth for Spain as a whole. The region remained Spain’s third-largest exporting autonomous community, accounting for 11.2% of the national total and contributing 0.6 percentage points to the increase in national exports. June exports rose 12.8% year on year, compared with 5.3% nationally, reaching a record €3.539 billion for that month.

The first-half figures were also a record for the period. Andalusia’s external trade was nearly balanced, with a deficit of €14.27 million and a coverage ratio of 99.9%. Spain overall recorded a €32.781 billion deficit and an 86% coverage ratio. Andalusia’s imports totalled €22.444 billion.
