Nine Andalusian startups were selected for the third edition of the Top101 Spain Up Nation awards, an initiative led by ENISA and the Regional Development Agencies, with support from Andalucía Emprende. The awards recognize innovative and technology-based companies in Spain with strong growth and impact potential. Andalucía Emprende is a foundation attached to the regional Department of Universities, Industry, Energy and Innovation.
Granada has two companies on the list: Heuristik, which specializes in data analysis and artificial intelligence, and HidroniFiltrador, focused on water filtration and treatment technologies. Málaga is also represented by two companies: Eldes, which develops software solutions, and S.Lab, which promotes sustainable solutions linked to the circular economy.
Seville’s selected companies are M2R Agrofarm, specializing in innovation for the agri-food sector; Pretium Renovables, focused on renewable energy and the energy transition; and VivoXpand, a startup developing digital technologies for use across different productive sectors. The list is completed by Córdoba-based biotechnology company Pharmigex, which focuses on health, and Huelva-based Kyvrox, which works on innovative technology solutions.
Andalusia shares second place in the national ranking with the Valencian Community, also with nine selected companies. The Community of Madrid leads with ten.
Five of the Andalusian startups were also named among the Top 50 in the latest Premios Emprendemos, held by the Andalusian regional government in June to recognize the region’s most innovative companies with the greatest growth potential. They are HidroniFiltrador, Kyvrox, M2R Agrofarm, Pharmigex and S.Lab.
The 101 startups were selected by the Top101 Spain Up Nation National Technical Committee from 367 applications submitted across Spain. The awards are due to be presented on November 18 at the national ceremony at the Riojafórum conference centre in Logroño.
