Airlines have scheduled 5% fewer seats on flights from the UK to Málaga Airport over the next six months, leaving 1.3 million seats planned, Turismo Costa del Sol president Francisco Salado said at the World Travel Market in London.

Salado said he expected airlines to revise their forecasts as demand becomes clearer. The reduction has not prompted concern among tourism industry figures cited at the event, who expect the UK market to remain strong for Málaga province.
