Women entrepreneurs, business owners and professionals are invited to a half-day event in Mijas on 29 October focused on leadership, professional connections and potential business collaborations.

The event, titled ‘Ellas hacen empresa’, is scheduled to run from 9.30am to 1.30pm at the Hotel ILUNION Hacienda de Mijas. Mijas Town Hall says the programme is intended to help participants share experience, expand their networks and explore opportunities to work together.

Mayor Ana Mata is due to open the gathering with an institutional welcome. The programme will also feature Yolanda Sáenz de Tejada, described by the town hall as an author of 20 publications, international speaker, coach specialising in women’s visibility and founder of the Club de las Creídas.

Her contribution will address women’s leadership and the visibility of women’s voices and talent in professional and business settings, according to the council’s announcement.

Alongside the talk, organisers are planning structured networking activities called “missions with purpose”. The council says these are designed to help attendees identify shared interests and possible collaborations, rather than limiting networking to exchanging contact details.

The event is aimed at women working across business and professional fields, including entrepreneurs and those developing projects. The announcement does not specify a participation fee, capacity or whether places are limited.

Registration is available through the form linked by Mijas Town Hall: https://forms.gle/YRQ5ZRHSkhwA1JFUA. The event is due to take place on Thursday, 29 October, from 9.30am to 1.30pm at the hotel in Mijas.
