Marbella is adding bus services for people visiting the municipality’s cemeteries over All Saints’ Day. A temporary urban route, the L-11, will connect the city centre with Virgen del Carmen cemetery on 31 October and 1 November, according to the Ayuntamiento and bus operator Avanza.

The circular route will run between Ricardo Soriano, near Porcelanosa, and the cemetery. It will pass through Marbella Centro, La Patera, Avenida Duque de Lerma, the bullring area, Avenida Europa and the Divina Pastora market.

Buses are scheduled to operate from 8.30am to 7.20pm, with departures every hour from both ends of the route. The service is intended to help with the additional journeys associated with cemetery visits during the two days.

Visitors going to San Bernabé cemetery can use the usual holiday timetables on lines L1, 2, 3, 6 and 6B, as well as the temporary L-11, the Ayuntamiento says.

In San Pedro Alcántara, line 7 will remain in service on 31 October and 1 November, providing access to the cemetery there. The council notes that this line does not normally run on those days.

The arrangements apply only to the two dates specified. The municipal notice does not provide a separate timetable or detailed stop list for the L-11 beyond its hourly departures and the named areas along its route.
