The 1-1-2 is a free public service available across Europe for medical emergencies, firefighting and rescue, public safety and civil protection. Callers can reach the assistance they need through a single call, 24 hours a day. The service also uses Advanced Mobile Location (AML) technology to provide the exact coordinates of the person reporting an incident.
The multilingual service takes calls in English, French, German, Ukrainian and Arabic, as well as Spanish.
