Residents wishing to pay their respects to the family of Count Rudi can sign a book of condolences at Marbella’s Hospital Real de la Misericordia on Saturday, 31 October. The town hall says the venue will be open to the public from 4pm to 8pm.
The funeral is due to take place at 5pm at the Church of Nuestra Señora de la Encarnación. The municipal announcement does not provide further details about the service or the arrangements for the family.
The town hall is making the historic hospital available as a place for residents to leave messages. The condolence book will be accessible during the four-hour opening period; anyone planning to attend should note that the funeral overlaps with the venue’s opening hours.
Mayor Ángeles Muñoz described Count Rudi as an important figure in Marbella’s high-end tourism sector and said he was widely loved in the city. She also said his name and legacy would remain part of Marbella’s history and collective memory.
