Residents will be able to meet representatives of police, emergency services and local charities at a free safety summit in Marbella on Tuesday, November 3. The United Nationalities of Marbella Summit 2026 will take place at Hard Rock Hotel Marbella in Nueva Andalucía.
This year’s theme is emergency and safety in the city. The event is intended for Spanish and international residents looking for information about where to turn when they need help. Doors are due to open at 10am; talks are expected to start between 11am and 11.15am. Attendance is free, and registration is not required.
The programme is set to include Marbella Local Police, the National Police, the Fire Service, Civil Protection and the Guardia Civil. Town Hall departments, including Social Services and the Foreign Residents Department, as well as the British Consulate, are also expected to contribute. The final running order was still being confirmed in the event information.
Alongside the talks, visitors will be able to speak with organisations at information tables. Groups listed as taking part include Age Concern Marbella and San Pedro, Soroptimist International Costa del Sol, Collective Calling, Triple A Marbella, Care Fairies and AVOI Málaga.
The summit also marks 20 years of Soroptimist International Costa del Sol. Its Safe Home 1 project helps fund overnight accommodation for women and their families who need a safe place because of domestic violence.
Information on support services is part of the event’s focus. The Andalusian Women’s Institute operates a free, confidential helpline on 900 200 999, available around the clock across Andalucía. Spain’s national 016 service offers free, confidential information, legal advice and immediate psychosocial support; telephone assistance is available in 53 languages.
An optional networking lunch is planned from 1.30pm to 3pm. It costs €45 per person, with €10 from each booking going to Safe Home 1. Lunch places must be reserved in advance through Hard Rock Hotel Marbella. Organiser Nicole King can be contacted at nicole@nicoleking.es for booking information. Charities interested in a free information table can also contact the organiser.
The venue is at Calle Las Violetas, Nueva Andalucía. The summit offers residents an opportunity to find out directly what local services and support groups provide; anyone in immediate danger should contact emergency services rather than wait for the event.
