Marbella’s sports councillor, Lisandro Vieytes, is due to present a Telpark parking promotion for local sports participants at 12.30pm on Friday, 23 October. The announcement is scheduled at the entrance to the company’s car park in the Marbell Center building, on Calle Rafaela Aparicio.

Telpark’s territorial delegate, Chema Fayos, is also listed as attending. The Ayuntamiento’s agenda describes the scheme as a promotion of parking for local sportspeople, but gives no information about prices, eligibility, participating venues or how to claim the offer.

Those details are expected to be clarified at the presentation. Until they are announced, local athletes and clubs cannot tell from the published agenda whether the offer will apply to particular training sessions, competitions or car parks.

The presentation is one of several events on the council’s Friday schedule. At 10am, a “Healthy Walks” activity called “Emotional Wellbeing” is due to start from Plaza de la Iglesia in San Pedro Alcántara.

At the Real Club Marítimo de Marbella, also at 10am, the first crossing of the Puerto Deportivo Virgen del Carmen is to be presented. The listed attendees are port director Carlos Romero and club president Fernando Oltra.

A further presentation at 11am in Parque Arroyo de la Represa concerns the “Marbepop” solidarity cups. Youth councillor Alejandro González and a representative of the animal charity Triple A are scheduled to attend.

The evening programme includes an open rehearsal and audience meeting with Chey Jurado Company at Teatro Ciudad de Marbella at 7pm, as part of the 17th Marbella TodoDanza festival. At 7.30pm, the Skybound classical music festival is due to continue at La Alcoholera performing arts centre in San Pedro Alcántara, with violinist Nicolae Ciocan and pianist Álvaro San Bartolomé Rondán.

The municipal listing is an advance agenda, not a report confirming that the events have taken place. The parking promotion’s practical conditions remain unreported in the information published ahead of Friday’s presentation.
