Families are invited to a Halloween party at the park on Calle Juanar in Marbella on Friday, 30 October. Organised by the Fernando de los Ríos residents’ association with support from Marbella City Council, the event will run from 5pm to 8pm.

The programme includes an inflatable castle, children’s entertainment by Mimosín and a fancy-dress competition. Children are encouraged to come in costume and take part in the activities, according to the association’s vice-president, Eli León.

A second-hand stall selling books and other items is a new feature this year. There will also be a food stand with items offered at popular prices, the council said.

The council’s Department of Citizen Participation is supporting the event. Councillor Enrique Rodríguez said the annual party had become a well-attended neighbourhood occasion and encouraged residents to join in.

The gathering is planned as a family event in the local park, with activities and stalls taking place during the three-hour afternoon session. The information supplied does not specify whether tickets or advance registration are required.
