The opening of Marbella’s Teatro Ciudad de Marbella production of “Don Juan Tenorio” has been rearranged. A performance originally planned for Saturday 31 October has been moved to Monday 2 November at 18:00, according to the city’s cultural events listing.

The Sunday 1 November performance will go ahead at 18:00 and will become the production’s premiere. Both performances are listed at Teatro Ciudad de Marbella, Plaza Ramón Martínez, 3.

Tickets for Saturday’s cancelled date will be valid for the Monday performance. Anyone unable to attend on Monday can request a refund through the same payment method used to buy the ticket, whether the purchase was made at the theatre box office or through mientrada.net.

The city asks ticket-holders seeking a refund to arrange it before the box office closes on Sunday 1 November. The listed closing time is 18:05. The notice says this deadline will allow the tickets to be put back on sale.

Admission is listed at €10, with tickets available at the theatre and through mientrada.net. The production is organised by Marbella’s Department of Culture, Education and Historic Heritage, with sponsorship from Fundación José Banús y Pilar Calvo.

The performers are members of the Asociación Amigos del Teatro Ciudad de Marbella, a non-profit cultural association founded in 2004. The city’s listing says the group has staged the play in different cultural venues connected with Marbella’s historic heritage and later set out to bring it to the municipal theatre.

For people with Saturday tickets, the practical choice is to use them on Monday or request a refund by the Sunday deadline. The Sunday performance remains scheduled for 18:00 and is now the first chance to see the production.
