Published July 22, 2026, this archive report said the Andalusian government’s Council of Government had appointed eight provincial delegates: Francisco Góngora Cara in Almería, Mercedes Colombo Roquette in Cádiz, Adolfo Molina Rascón in Córdoba, Antonio Jesús Granados García in Granada, Berta Sofía Centeno García in Huelva, Erik Domínguez Guerola in Jaén, Patricia Navarro Pérez in Málaga and Ricardo Sánchez Antúnez in Sevilla. Francisco Javier Ros Rodríguez was appointed deputy government delegate for Campo de Gibraltar.
The council also approved appointments across five regional government departments following the formation of the government after the May 17, 2026, Andalusian Parliament election. The release lists María de los Ángeles García Rescalvo as the new managing director of the Andalusian Health Service (SAS), and Antonio Luis Cansino Osuna as director general for health care and health outcomes at the SAS. Sergio Romero Jiménez was appointed director general for consumer affairs.
Other appointments listed were Manuel Alejandro Lara León as secretary general for tourism; María José Cañizares Castellanos as secretary general for judicial infrastructure, digital modernization and regeneration; Cristina Alejandra Jiménez Jiménez as secretary general for local administration; Sofía Rull Rodríguez as the regional government’s comptroller general; María Luisa López Cánovas as secretary general for water; Ana Delgado Morgado as secretary general of the Andalusian Agency for Agricultural and Fisheries Management; and Cristina Amador Naranjo as secretary general for business and self-employment.
The release also provided biographical information on the appointees. It said several of the provincial delegates had already held those posts, including Góngora in Córdoba—[Correction: Góngora was listed as the new delegate in Almería; the biographies describe prior officeholders in their respective provinces.]—and Colombo, Granados, Domínguez, Navarro and Sánchez. Navarro’s biography gives her surname as Navarro Domínguez, while the appointment list identifies her as Patricia Navarro Pérez.
