Sohail Castle in Fuengirola is due to host an International Toy and Collectors’ Fair on Saturday 31 October and Sunday 1 November. Entry is free, with exhibitions, workshops and games planned for visitors of different ages.

The event is organised by Playmopop Eventos and is scheduled across the All Saints’ Day weekend. Fuengirola culture councillor Rodrigo Romero has described it as an activity intended to appeal to the whole family, from grandparents to grandchildren.

Exhibits will range from toys associated with earlier generations to contemporary collectibles. The programme includes Spanish toy lines such as Geyperman, Madelman, Airgamboys, Nancy and Barriguitas, alongside model electric trains and classic tin and wooden toys.

Other displays will focus on Playmobil, Lego, Scalextric and scale-model cars, as well as pop-culture collectibles including Star Wars and G.I. Joe figures and Funko Pop figures. A board-game section is set to show favourites including Monopoly, Hotel, El Pale and Tragabolas.

Children’s activities are expected to include making slime, flower vases, masks and themed figures. The programme also lists Halloween entertainment, a costume contest and tournaments featuring traditional games such as parchís and the oca.

Saturday’s schedule includes music from DJ Xavi, with selections inspired by television series and toy adverts from the 1980s and 1990s. The fair will also feature a collectors’ market, with craftspeople and specialist shops from Andalucía and elsewhere in Spain offering toys, figures and miniatures.

A charity area will accept new or good-condition toys and non-perishable food. Organisers say donations will be passed to social organisations in Fuengirola. Visitors should check Fuengirola Town Hall’s website for full event information before travelling; the supplied information does not give opening hours or a detailed timetable.
